Macular degeneration is one the most common causes of severe vision loss in people over the age of 60. Symptoms of macular degeneration include blurred vision, distorted vision, or a blind spot (empty area) in the center of your vision. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it is important to have an eye doctor examine your eyes to determine if you have macular degeneration and what type you may have. Two types of macular degeneration exist, wet and dry, and each of these types are managed differently. If you are experiencing these symptoms, please
