Our Services

Comprehensive Vision Care

If you are experiencing symptoms or aren't sure what could be affecting the health of your eyes please give us a call. We will help determine exactly the best way to move forward. Below is a non-exhaustive list of common services that we provide our patients.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

At Teton Vision Center, we use state of the art testing procedures for patients of all ages to determine the overall health of your eyes. During a comprehensive eye exam, we can determine how well you see at different distances, and provide you a prescription for glasses and contact lenses. We also look for visual complications of systemic diseases that can affect your eyes, including diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid conditions, arthritis, high cholesterol, and autoimmune disorders.

Diabetic Eye Health, Dry Eyes

Diabetes is a systemic disease that can affect your eyes. It is the leading cause of preventable new onset blindness in the working-aged adult. Diabetic retinopathy is painless and often has no symptoms until the very advanced stages. If you have diabetes, or a family history of diabetes, early detection is the key for protection against vision loss.

Dry eyes are a common condition that causes blurry vision, a burning feeling, eye redness, and sensitivity to light. Severe dry eye may cause scarring and vision loss. Our doctors can help find the best treatment options for you.

Glaucoma, Cataract and LASIK Care

Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness world wide. It affects more that 2.7 million individuals over the age of 40 in the U.S. We screen all adults for glaucoma. With proper management vision loss can be slowed or halted altogether. Teton Vision Center also provides evaluations for cataracts and if surgery is needed, set up referrals to qualified eye surgeons. We provide pre-surgical, and post-surgical care for both Cataract and LASIK procedures.

Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is one the most common causes of severe vision loss in people over the age of 60. Symptoms of macular degeneration include blurred vision, distorted vision, or a blind spot (empty area) in the center of your vision. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it is important to have an eye doctor examine your eyes to determine if you have macular degeneration and what type you may have. Two types of macular degeneration exist, wet and dry, and each of these types are managed differently. If you are experiencing these symptoms, please contact us.

Emergency Eye Care

Eye pain, redness, discharge, or swelling could be an indication of an infection or illness. We will see you as quickly as possible to diagnose and prescribe the correct treatment for your eyes. Timely eye care for eye injuries, whether major or minor, is essential for maintaining long lasting eye health. Teton Vision Center’s experienced Optometrists can help treat eye injuries you may have incurred through work, sports, or at home.

Frames and Contact Lenses

We provide an extensive selection of frames and contact lenses in our office.
